I believe Brand's show regularly (&,IMO, bafflingly) drew something in the region of 2 million listeners who were quite happy with it's content and who massively outnumber the dickwads that moaned about a programme that they neither heard or would ever have to hear of if they so chose. So all this has done is robbed roughly 2 million licence fee payers of something they were perfectly happy with because a minority of other licence fee payers (and other parties with quite clearly vested interests) want all fee money spent on educational programmes about the good old days of the empire or knitting or whatever. I for one hope that this so-called licence payers revenge will eventually take the form of disgruntled Brand fans spamming the bbc website with complaints about Bill Oddie and The Antiques Roadshow. I'm all for it.Sonofajoinerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12979073189524401715noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14422435.post-71764904330069735672008-11-22T17:12:00.000+00:002008-11-22T17:12:00.000+00:00Overpaid maybe, treating their audiences with cont...Overpaid maybe, treating their audiences with contempt, no. In fact you are doing what everyone else is doing, using the affair to have a go at someone; in your case the people who complained, in my case the overpaid taste-free tossers who treat their audiences with contempt.
Licence payers revenge, I'm all for it.Jemmy Hopehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11613242697482178552noreply@blogger.com
